Job description

HazTek is seeking an experienced Site Safety Manager in Lancaster, PA to support a large-scale construction project in the Watertown, MA area. This position will oversee daily safety operations on an active union construction site and work closely with project leadership, contractors, and field personnel to ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and site requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead daily safety oversight for ongoing construction activities.
  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with site safety policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee orientations.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns.
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting.
  • Support project leadership in promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and client-specific safety requirements

  • Minimum 7 years direct construction safety experience required
  • OSHA 510 and or 500 a plus
  • CHST or CSP preferred
  • Experience working on active commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety practices and medium-voltage construction environments.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
