The Construction Superintendent will oversee and manage the daily operations of ground-up, commercial construction projects in New Haven County, CT. Client Details The hiring company is a mid-sized organization specializing in the commercial construction sector, with a focus on high-quality ground up and large remodel projects. This firm has been around for 50+ years and has an excellent reputation.

Description Construction Superintendent Oversee daily on-site construction activities from project start through closeout Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved Enforce OSHA safety standards and company safety policies Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with contract documents Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Owners Lead site meetings and provide progress updates Identify and resolve construction issues proactively Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure accuracy and compliance General knowledge of Building and Construction Codes Support project closeout activities including punch lists and final inspections MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
