Job description

The Jewish Federation of Southern NJ (JFSNJ) is seeking a highly skilled and mission-driven Data Coordinator to assist with the optimization and development of our data infrastructure. The Data Coordinator supports the Senior Database Manager and the initiatives of the Data Team. This role focuses on the data workflows, automations, data integrity, data entry and will play an important role in enhancing data systems efficiency, data reliability, and the strategic and operational use of data across JFSNJ system.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Design, build, and maintain data workflows and pipelines between various database systems and help develop automations and future AI integrations to reduce manual data entry and streamline operations.
  2. Data entry as needed, such as address new constituents, constituent updates, and pledge/payment entry and approval.
  3. Data clean up as needed, such as address verification and adjustments.
  4. Data quality control and assurance, such as regular data checks to ensure compliance with established best practices.
  5. Assis in fulfilling data report requests.
  6. Maintain accurate records and electronic filing systems.
  7. Work closely with JFSNJ departments and agencies on data requests and tasks.
  8. Assist the Data Team in developing best practices and infrastructure to enhance the efficiency of our data systems, strengthen data reliability, and be more strategic in our use of data across the JFSNJ system.

Required Education & Experience: College degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Additional Technical Requirements:

  1. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  2. Strong comfort level with learning new software programs.
  3. Excellent communication skills, and the ability to present and disseminate information to various levels of staff and stakeholders.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively with others.
  5. Strong project management skills with the ability to be flexible to changing priorities and deadlines.
  6. Detail orientated, meticulous, and a strong ability to focus and manage tasks.
  7. Proficiency in MS Dynamics, Power BI, Power Automate, and/or Power Apps a plus.
