Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
 
Location: Oregon Coast (Coos County area)
Compensation: $45.00 – $71.00 per hour (Union scale based on experience)

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply the nursing process to provide high-quality care to patients in crisis and emergency situations.
  • Adapt quickly to rapidly changing patient and unit needs through critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall patient care.
  • Educate patients and families while ensuring accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Required Qualifications
  • Licensure: Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon.
  • Life Support: American Heart Association BLS (Healthcare Provider).
  • Experience: Recent experience in Emergency Nursing and recent acute care hospital experience (within the last 5 years).
Preferred Qualifications
  • ACLS and PALS (or ENPC) certifications (required within 6 months to 1 year of hire).
  • TNCC certification (required within 1 year of hire).
  • National certification in emergency nursing (CEN or equivalent).
  • Workplace violence training (SAFE or equivalent).
