Caf Helper

Windom Area Elementary
5.5 Hours/Day

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • This position will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, the serving of food, the washing of dishes and pans, and the general cleaning of the kitchen/serving area.
  • This position will work 5.5 hours per day approximately from 7:45 am to 1:15 pm.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One to three years of experience in the school food service program preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a job-related field

SALARY RANGE:

  • Union contract hourly range based on education, experience, and qualifications: $16.52 - $19.13
    • The following hourly range is based on the 2025-2026 school year union contract; these amounts will be subject to change/increase once the new contract is settled.
