Job Summary:
Rubrik is a leading company in data protection and cyber resilience, and they are seeking a Director of Product Management for Data Threat Analytics. This role involves setting product strategy, executing recovery processes, and leading a team to address threats against sensitive data in hybrid and cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
• Define and own the long-term product vision for data threat analytics anchored in hybrid, and cloud-native environments, and recovery-first outcomes.
• Reimagine how threat signals, anomaly detection, and sensitive data discovery directly inform - blast radius assessment, clean restore point selection and how this feeds into confident cyber recovery workflows
• Develop a point of view on the evolving hybrid and cloud threat landscape, including ransomware, and misconfigurations - and translate into differentiated product strategy
• Drive end-to-end execution for recovery across matrix organization and own the process from concept validation to GA and customer adoption while holding the upstream teams accountable
• Break-down ambiguous, multi-year product bets into clear milestones, measurable outcomes, and incremental value
• Establish strong product operating rhythms - with tight roadmap discipline and backlog hygiene
• Build, lead and scale a high-performing team of Product Managers
• Coach PMs to think beyond feature delivery toward - problem framing, systems thinking and recovery outcomes.
• Develop PM talent with strong focus on structured thinking and crisp communication, executive-ready storytelling and customer-centric results.
• Foster a culture of high accountability with stakeholders and build teams that move fast, learn, and course-correct.
• Create clarity in a complex org by defining ownership boundaries, decision-making frameworks, and clear interfaces with engineering, snappable PMs, data science and security research.
• Act as a cross-functional leader and unifier, aligning product, engineering, data science, security research and go-to-market teams around shared outcomes.
• Serve as a credible product voice in executive reviews, roadmap discussions, and key customer conversations.
• Enforce strong boundaries on snappable PM teams for persona, and problem definition and learning to leverage teams for their expertise instead of wanting to do it all
• Navigate ambiguity and competing priorities by driving alignment
• Serve as a trusted partner to global stakeholders across US, India and Israel, navigating distributed execution and time-zone collaboration effectively.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 10-15 years in product management, with 5+ years managing PMs.
• Strong Enterprise PM background
• Experience in one of the following: Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), or Cloud Detection & Response (CDR) or DSPM
• Deep understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), or identity services or SaaS models.
• Experience building analytics-heavy or detection-driven products at scale.
Preferred:
• Has a strong track record of shipping enterprise products to Global 2000s
• Understands why alert fatigue kills adoption and how to design trusted signals.
• Comfortable discussing cloud cost models, scale tradeoffs, and multi-tenant architectures.
• Exposure to backup, recovery, or resilience platforms.
• Experience working with data classification, lineage, or access intelligence.
• Familiarity with ransomware or destructive cloud attacks, database vulnerabilities, identity-based attacks or SaaS vulnerabilities
