The Underwriting Leadership Development Program is primarily based in Hartford, CT, where participantsbenefitfrom a strong community of underwriting professionals, leadership visibility, and engagement with program participants. The program also offers opportunities in multiple office locations across the country and provides a hybrid work arrangement of3days in the office per week.
During the selection process, candidates mayindicatetheir preferred office location. While Hartfordremainsthe primary program location, alternative office locations may be considered based on business needs and participant circumstances. We will take location preferences into consideration and make every effort to accommodate them. Final work location decisions will be communicated prior to theprogramstart date.

The Underwriting Leadership Development Program (ULDP) is a premier rotational experience and key talent pipeline designed to develop agile, growth-minded early career talent into future underwriting leaders.Through three 18-month rotations, participants gainhands-on experience evaluating risk, developing pricing strategies, supporting profitable growth, and influencing key business decisions across a variety of underwriting business segments.
As a participant, you will builda strong foundationin underwritingexpertise, financial analysis, business acumen, and leadership while gaining exposure to senior leaders, cross-functional business partners, and a community of fellow program participants. Through focused training, mentorship, enterprise projects, committee participation, and executive visibility, you will strengthen both your technical underwriting and leadership capabilities.

In addition to rotational assignments, participants are encouraged to take ownership of their development by contributing to projects and initiatives that drive business results, strengthen the ULDP community, and support the future underwriting talent pipeline. Opportunities may include:
