Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Casualty underwriting experience:
    • Senior Production Underwriter: Generally, 5-7 years
    • Production Underwriting Specialist: Generally, 7-9 years
    • Senior Production Underwriting Specialist: Generally, 10+ years
  • Excess Casualty and Umbrella underwriting experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed (typically less than 10% overnight).

Compensation
  • Senior Production Underwriter: $97,000 - $133,000
  • Production Underwriting Specialist: $123,000 - $169,000
  • Senior Production Underwriting Specialist: $163,000 - $218,000+

Compensation is based on experience, skills, education, and geographic location. Candidates with higher salary expectations are encouraged to apply and will be considered based on qualifications.
