Sr. Design Manager, Womens Nike Underwear - PVH

The Senior Design Manager, Womens Nike Underwear role is a critical position in driving the design and development of women's underwear, from initial concept through final production. This role is responsible for leading the creative direction of the category across multiple brands, with a strong focus on performance, innovation, and athlete-informed design. You will lead the end-to-end design process, mentor and develop junior talent, and ensure each collection aligns with brand vision, consumer insights, and evolving market trends. With a deep understanding of movement, fit, and performance, you will create product that supports the body in motion-balancing comfort, breathability, support, and durability. Working cross-functionally with product development, innovation, materials, and merchandising teams, you will help bring to life cutting-edge solutions through advanced fabrications, seamless construction, and precision fit. In this role, you will define and evolve the design direction for women's underwear, delivering impactful, performance-driven collections that meet the highest standards of function, innovation, and style.

What You'll Do:

Creative Leadership & Design Development

  • Partner with VP of Design to define the vision for women's performance underwear, grounded in athlete insights and brand identity
  • Lead the team in creating innovative, performance-first product with a focus on fit, function, and modern aesthetics
  • Drive newness through advanced silhouettes, technical fabrics, and construction techniques that enhance movement, comfort, and support

Trend & Consumer Insights

  • Leverage market, athlete, and competitor insights to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation
  • Translate trends and performance needs into relevant, brand-right product solutions
  • Use data and product learnings to inform and evolve future design direction

Seasonal Execution

  • Build and communicate seasonal design direction through concept tools and milestone presentations
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver cohesive, performance-driven collections aligned to business goals
  • Oversee sample development, ensuring product integrity and timely execution

Brand & Product Excellence

  • Ensure all product aligns with brand standards, performance goals, and consumer expectations

Product Development & Fit

  • Partner with materials, product development, and supply teams to execute best-in-class product

What You'll Bring:

  • Design degree, preferred
  • 7+ years design experience
  • Proven experience as a lead/ senior designer role within the Women's performance underwear space
  • Creative, driven, and fueled by a passion for performance innovation
  • Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign; experience with Dobby Pro and Centric PLM a plus
  • Deep understanding of technical fabrics, garment construction, and performance-driven design
  • Strong communicator, able to clearly present and articulate design vision and product intent
  • Sharp eye for trend, color, and textile innovation, with the ability to translate insights into product
  • Detail-oriented with a relentless focus on quality, fit, and execution
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, delivering against timelines with precision and accountability

Pay Range:$125,100---$169,300PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
