Infinity Pipeline Inc is urgently seeking a skilled Underground Utility Equipment Operator with experience in dirt and underground pipe work to join our expanding construction team. In this hands-on role, you will operate late-model, closed-cab machinery to support commercial, industrial, and government infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, and dozers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform dirt work and install underground piping as directed by project supervisors.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections and report any maintenance needs for machinery.
  • Adhere to all company and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
  • Read and interpret grade stakes, site plans, and instructions for job site execution.
  • Work as part of a crew to meet project deadlines and maintain site productivity.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors on task progress and changes.
  • Be available for emergency tasks or schedule adjustments when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience operating D5-sized dozers and 60,000-pound excavators.
  • Prior experience operating heavy equipment in construction or a related field.
  • Knowledge of underground utility installation and dirt work techniques preferred.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and have reliable transportation.
  • Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset.
  • Dozer ability includes fine grade and knowledge of GPS, as well as mass grading or utility construction.
  • Ability to follow directions, accept responsibility, and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of utility construction, specifically water and sewer, is preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, climb, lift (up to 50 lbs), and perform physical labor on construction sites.
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
  • May require occasional travel to project sites.
