Job description

Underground Utilities Laborer / Installer

APS is seeking experienced Underground Utilities Laborers and Installers to join our growing team. As a WBE-certified, family-owned company, we take pride in delivering high-quality site development and utility construction projects that strengthen communities throughout the Southeast.

We are looking for motivated, dependable individuals with experience in underground utility installation, including water, storm, and sanitary sewer systems. Candidates should have the ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints and understand proper installation methods, safety procedures, and job-site best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Install water, storm, and sanitary sewer systems on new construction projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and utility specifications
  • Assist with trenching, pipe installation, grading, and utility connections
  • Maintain a safe and productive work environment
  • Work effectively as part of a construction crew
  • Travel occasionally for project assignments as needed
