Minnesota Oral and Facial Surgery is currently seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator to join our team.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a medical receptionist preferred but not required
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Familiarity with electronic medical health records preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently and effectively balance multiple tasks

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet visitors and patients in a timely and friendly manner
  • Maintain privacy of patients and assure patient confidentiality at all times
  • Answer phones in a friendly and professional manner
  • Monitoring emails and faxes daily
  • Schedule patients for procedures, examinations, and consultations
  • Create and send referral letters to MD's
  • Prepping charts which include printing schedule, creating pink slips, locating referrals & x-rays in chart, downloading registration paperwork and creating alerts
  • Checking patients in and out
  • Assist patients with completion of medical record requests
  • Reconciliation of end of day deposits
  • Generating end of day reports
  • Collecting & posting payments and issuing refunds
  • Creating visit estimates
  • Additional duties as assigned
