Job Summary NPK's Internship Program offers students the chance to gain real-world experience by working with subject matter experts in their field and collaborating within a dynamic team aligned with company strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities - Support and Assistance: Collaborate with other auditors within the department. Your tasks will include performing audit tests of business records, preparing work papers, and summarizing results.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Assess compliance in conjunction with organization policies.
- Internal Control Assessment: Understand internal controls for key processes and assist audit team members with review of controls.
- Communication: Collaborate with Internal Audit team, control owners, and stakeholders to perform testing and communicate results.
Education & Experience Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in Bachelor's or Postgraduate program.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical and collaborative skills; attentive to details.
- Display integrity, accountability, dependability, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
- Good verbal and written communications skills.
- Professional in client and audit team interactions.
- Ability to navigate various technology applications, including MS Office (emphasis on Excel); aptitude to quickly learn.
Location Requirements This position is designed to be primarily remote. Candidates must be willing and able to travel to
The Woodlands, TX corporate office and/or other business sites on an as-needed basis during the internship. In-person attendance requirements will be limited and communicated in advance.
