Hospitalist-Academic (MD/DO) - UNC School of Medicine
The Division of Hospital Medicine at The University of North Carolina School of Medicine is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine Physician to join UNC Chapel Hill faculty working as an academic hospitalist. This position is Open Rank, Fixed Term. The division is seeking faculty applicants for several open positions, including both daytime hospitalist and nocturnist roles. UNC Hospitals is a top-ranking academic medical center located in beautiful Chapel Hill and Hillsborough, North Carolina. Physicians will have the opportunity to work at both the Chapel Hill campus and the new state-of-the-art facility in Hillsborough, NC. This opportunity offers: direct provision of clinical care, including opportunities on our teaching and non-teaching services. Excellent starting salary commensurate with experience, generous benefits package and CME allowance. FTE is negotiable from .75 to 1.0 FTE.
Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
  • MD degree
  • Residency training in Internal Medicine or combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible Internists or Combined Internal Medicine-Pediatric Physicians
