The University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Clinical Program - CRNP (Cap Region Cardiac Surgery Practice) to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of the UM Cardiac Surgery Practice located at the Cap Region site.
Position Summary
The University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Clinical Program - CRNP (Cap Region Cardiac Surgery Practice) to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of the UM Cardiac Surgery Practice located at the Cap Region site. This role collaborates closely with clinical leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure APPs are supported in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a robust practice site to include assessment and organization of patients pre and post operatively.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Establish relationships with hospital and community partners to manage the cardiac surgical care
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis, outcomes tracking, and continuous quality improvement initiatives

Work Experience
  • Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)
  • Active and unrestricted Maryland licensure as a CRNP
