Job description

The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor seeks qualified Christian employees for this position.
Responsibilities: Performs assigned tasks in remodeling, renovation, mounting and installation, heavy equipment operation, power tool operation, and related tasks to support new and renovated construction. Integrates safety procedures into every job task.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Must be an active and committed Christian who will support the University's mission and who will be an active participant in their local church.
  2. A high school diploma or GED is required.
  3. A minimum of three (3) years' employment experience in remodeling, renovation, carpentry or similar is required.
  4. Experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred (backhoe, cement mixer, forklifts, man lifts).
  5. Proficiency in the use of power tools (saws, sanders, drills, etc.) is required.
  6. The successful completion of OSHA/safety training in PPE, forklift operation and related topics is strongly preferred.
  7. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
  8. Must possess a current and valid Texas driver's license and be insurable under UMHB auto coverage.
  9. Must agree to the University's Employee Statement of Understanding.
