Job description

Minimum Requirements:
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Ability to use inspection/measurement devices
  • Ability to demonstrate basic machining skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Independently Set-up and Operate CNC and Manual Machines
  • Edit programming as necessary
  • Maintain Fixturing and Tooling
  • Inspect Own Work (first piece) and document inspection
  • Abide by all Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Produce Quality Products within given Specifications
  • Training of other operators
  • Produce parts at an acceptable rate
  • Read and follow instructional materials (set-up sheets, blue prints, etc.)
  • Daily preventive maintenance
  • Continuous improvement
  • 6S
  • Perform job functions and tasks required by management and supervisors
  • Excellent Attendance
  • Quality and Safety Conscious
  • Ability to work any shift
Qualifications:
  • Due to ITAR regulations, must be a U.S. Person
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Language, Math, and Reasoning Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings, set-up sheets, travelers, procedure manuals and government regulations.
Computer Skills:
Must be able to use the computer and computer software as required by job.
