Facility: Blaine Medical Center
Location: 11855 Ulysses St NE, Blaine, MN 55434
Type: Permanent (Full-Time Employment) 
Shift: Days; 8 hrs/day, 80 hours per pay period
Summary
North Memorial Health is seeking a General Ultrasound Technologist to join our Imaging team in Blaine, MN. The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a safe, efficient, and compassionate manner to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment. This role serves patients across the lifespan, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate ultrasound procedures and apply critical thinking skills to ensure optimal imaging quality.
  • Recognize emergent situations and respond appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
  • Operate imaging and hospital computer systems effectively.
  • Interact with patients, families, physicians, and staff in a professional, respectful manner.
  • Assist patients during procedures to ensure comfort and safety.
  • Contribute to departmental accreditation and quality assurance efforts.
  • Support equipment care, room cleaning, and supply restocking.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain required certifications.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards, including North Memorial’s Corporate Code of Conduct.
Qualifications
Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited Sonography program.
Experience:
  • 1–5 years of ultrasound experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
  • RDMS Registered (or eligible within 2 years of graduation).
  • BLS Certification (required).
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Range: $37.49 – $56.23/hour
