Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Maternal Fetal / OB-GYN sonography for a mobile outreach role requiring independent work across multiple clinic locations in New Mexico.

Details
  • Outreach/mobile ultrasound position serving clinics in Gallup, Farmington, and Santa Fe, NM
  • Sonographer is based in Albuquerque and departs daily from the Eubank Clinic location
  • A driver transports the team in an outreach van on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; sonographer drives the outreach van on Tuesdays (Gallup) and Fridays (Santa Fe)
  • Shift runs from 5:15 AM to 7:00 PM, including travel time between facilities
  • 4x12-hour day shifts; no weekend requirements
  • Cases include low and high level women's imaging for pregnant patients
  • Current ultrasound equipment includes GE E22, GE E10, and GE S10
  • Charting performed in Cerner
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of sonography experience
  • ARDMS OB/GYN, ARDMS, and ARDMS Fetal Echo (FE) certifications required
  • Current BLS required
  • NM State License required (if applicable)
  • Must be able to work independently without direct supervision
  • Candidates must reside in or near Albuquerque, NM; no candidates within 100 miles of the facility will be considered for travel pay eligibility
  • Must complete a safe driving module prior to starting (required for driving outreach van)
  • COVID vaccination required; religious and medical exemptions accepted with a completed exemption form signed by a provider
Additional Information
  • Perform low and high-level women's imaging, including OB/GYN and Fetal Echo studies, across multiple outreach clinic locations
  • Sonographer must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • RTO requests exceeding 7 days require facility approval
  • Burgundy scrubs required
  • Pending NM state license accepted
  • A 6-month break is required for travelers who have worked 4 consecutive assignments or reached the one-year mark at this facility, whichever comes first
