Job Description
 
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with proficiency in penial ultrasounds to join our team at Houston Medical Center. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who is passionate about diagnostic imaging and committed to providing high-quality patient care
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Perform ultrasound imaging with a focus on Artemis-guided prostate biopsies and general ultrasound procedures in Urology.
  • Ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment efficiently, ensuring proper calibration and upkeep.
  • Document procedures accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.
 
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Certified Ultrasound Technologist (ARDMS or equivalent required).
  • Experience with Artemis Biopsy technology and/or Urology is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging techniques and equipment.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical setting.
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills.
