SCOPE OF THE JOB

As Account Manager, you will own the Ulta Beauty business—driving revenue, market share, and profitability while serving as the primary partner to the retailer. You’ll turn strategy into action across merchandising, forecasting, and marketing, leading cross-functional alignment and delivering best-in-class results through a hands-on, commercially driven approach.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Own and grow the Ulta Beauty business, driving net sales, market share, and profitability

▪ Serve as the primary point of contact for Ulta, building strong, strategic relationships

▪ Develop and execute Joint Business Plans (JBP) aligned with retailer expectations and growth targets

▪ Lead forecasting, revenue planning, and financial management with strong commercial rigor

▪ Partner closely with demand planning to ensure accurate forecasts and inventory alignment

▪ Analyze sell-through, inventory, and category performance to identify risks and opportunities

▪ Manage and optimize merchandising strategies across in-store and Ulta.com environments

▪ Ensure strong execution of launches, promotions, and in-store storytelling

▪ Translate a deep understanding of Ulta’s dynamics into clear account strategies and priorities

▪ Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, social, and planning teams

▪ Manage retailer deliverables including assortment updates, samples, and product listings

▪ Support annual planning and budget management for the account

▪ Travel as needed to support retailer relationships and business needs

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

▪ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required

▪ 5+ years of experience in account management, wholesale, or commercial roles within beauty or CPG, consistently delivering measurable growth with key retail partners.

▪ At least 2 years of hands-on experience managing the Ulta Beauty account for a high-growth beauty company, with a strong understanding of Ulta’s operating model, merchandising strategies, and commercial expectations.

▪ Experience building and executing Joint Business Plans (JBP)

▪ Strong financial and analytical acumen, with the ability to forecast, plan revenue, manage expenses, and translate data into clear, actionable business insights.

▪ Excellent cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills

▪ Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with multiple priorities

▪ Excellent communication and presentation skills

▪ Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
