ABOUT US: Ascensus Global, Inc. (formerly MultiLingual Solutions, Inc.) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with more than 21 years of successful experience providing professional language services, foreign language and cultural training, and analysis support to a broad client base consisting of more than 40 U.S. military and intelligence customers, as well as over 2,000 civilian government, commercial and non-profit organizations in various fields. With ISO 9001:2015 and 17100:2015 certifications, AGI provides services in more than 100 languages, employing innovative technologies and methodologies and applying best practices from both the Government and commercial arenas to advance each customer’s unique communication and operational objectives throughout the U.S. and across the globe.


POSITION SUMMARY: AGI is seeking a qualified Ukrainian Language Instructor with demonstrated experience in Ukrainian - English interpretation to support a specialized training program. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching military personnel and/or government professionals and will be responsible for both language instruction and integrated interpretation and translation activities.


The program will take place during the month of July 2026 for 3 weeks, one week virtual and 2 weeks in-person in Montgomery, Alabama. All travel expenses will be covered for the qualified candidate.

Requirements:


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct research, preparation, and planning to ensure effective delivery of instructional materials in accordance with program objectives and guidelines.
  • Integrate Interpretation activities into the curriculum, with a focus on enhancing participants’ skills in both areas.
  • Provide classroom instruction in the target language on assigned topics, aligned with program requirements and the instructor’s qualifications.
  • Facilitate on site role play exercises and other enrichment activities to support language acquisition and practical application
  • Assist with administering initial and final assessments.
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing program and training activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Native proficiency in Ukrainian and a strong command of English (both spoken and written).
  • Professional experience teaching Ukrainian to military or government personnel.
  • Demonstrated experience in Ukrainian - English translation and interpretation.
  • Experience developing instructional materials.
  • Strong instructional, organizational, and communication skills in both Ukrainian and English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience planning, organizing, and leading language and/or cultural training programs.
  • Familiarity with U.S. military environments.
  • Advanced academic background in linguistics, interpretation, education, or a related field.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of learners.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:


PAY RANGE: Several factors, including education, geographic location, contract labor categories, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, or market data, determine the final salary.
