Job description

UI/UX Designer

Location: New York, NY

Role Summary:

Design intuitive user interfaces that make complex AI/ML outputs and GenAI agents usable, trustworthy, and clinically relevant.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research and contextual inquiries with clinicians, staff, and administrators
  • Design UX for summarization panels, prompt workflows, and agent feedback interfaces
  • Ensure ADA/WCAG 2.1 accessibility in all designs
  • Support visualization of model confidence, explainability, and agent decisions
  • Prototype interfaces for AI copilots, voice assistants, and decision support overlays

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years in UI/UX design
  • Experience designing interfaces for AI/ML products or healthcare workflows

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with GenAI or chatbot UI/UX
  • Familiarity with LLM design affordances, such as user clarification flows, prompt traceability, and fail-safe actions
