Job description

Responsibilities:
  • The developer will be supporting internal Pharmacy Applications, which include many batch processes that are developed in Informatica (ETL tool).
  • We would like a developer to; support new small Java/Spring applications; needed to work on Service Requests, which involves analysis, coding, and support through testing
  • may need to participate in requirements sessions with the business partners; will need to eventually be On Call for pharmacy applications
  • On call is not too demanding, and there is a rotation with other staff.

Typical day:
  • The developer would be assigned Service Requests, and would need to do some analysis of the problem, and then code the solution.
  • The developer would need to work with the testers, and also work closely with the solution architect for larger scale efforts.

Selling point:
  • They are a fun group that collaborates easily and rises to business challenges in support of our Pharmacy Business Partners.
  • Currently, the team consists of the Rx Benefit coders as well as IT developers.
  • The current applications consist of sending and receiving files to our PBM vendor and then maintaining that information in our Facets application.
  • However, recently, there has been an increased need to develop some independent applications that consist of a User Interface with a Oracle back end database.
  • We also are in need of expertise in the Pharmacy space, and are willing to invest the time and energy to have support of this critical business area.

Skills:
  • We are moving to LifeRay, so LifeRay experience is highly desirable.
  • Additional skills that are highly desirable include: Java, PL/SQL; Oracle, MQ Broker, Oracle database; Informatica.
