Job description

Our Carrollton, TX-based client is hiring a UI/UX Designer focused on the discovery, ideation, and development of new digital products in the retirement space and beyond. The UI/UX Designer will guide the digital future of our client’s firm by working cross-functionally to test new ideas, pilot solutions, and prepare successful concepts for broader rollout.

This is a direct-hire position working onsite (75 days/year remote) in Carrollton, TX. 

COMP:

Up to $146K OTE (Designer 5+ years of experience)

Up to $189K OTE (Sr. Designer 7+ years of experience)

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead the design strategy and define the user experience for new products across web and mobile platforms
  • Own the end-to-end product design of digital products from concept to launch across multiple lines of business
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design approaches
  • Communicate design concepts, prototypes, and testing insights to key stakeholders
  • Research the use of AI-assisted user workflows
  • Create specifications and assets for the engineering team

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 5+ years OR 7+ years (Sr.) of experience in UI/UX design in business and consumer-facing digital products
  • Experience leading 0-to-1 product development from concept to launch
  • Built design systems from the ground up
  • Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Have previously conducted at least 50 external customer interviews to inform product decisions
  • Strong UI/UX portfolio across web and mobile applications
  • Expertise in user-centered design, research, and prototyping
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and leadership
