Job description

Who We Are
Liqid is doing for AI infrastructure what VMware did for x86 servers, bringing the agility of the cloud to the on-prem datacenter to dynamically allocate and share GPUs, memory, and other resources. This functionality is critical in running AI and advanced-data workloads in production (a.k.a. Inference). Liqid Matrix software enables global organizations to accelerate the adoption of AI, HPC and VDI by unlocking the bottleneck of GPU utilization and availability through dynamic pooling and sharing of AI resources for higher performance with less total cost, less power, and less hardware.
About the Role
Liqid is seeking a senior, creative, and technically strong UI engineer to help evolve and scale our Vue.js-based user interface. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast moving environment, takes ownership of their work and wants to make a high-impact, and is passionate about building polished, high-quality user experiences. You'll have a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to influence architecture, improve code quality, and shape the direction of the front-end experience. You'll work with a collaborative team that is focused on building high-quality software.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain modern UI features using Vue.js and JavaScript
  • Translate product and UX requirements into scalable, maintainable front-end solutions
  • Own features end-to-end, from concept through delivery and iteration
  • Improve application performance, usability, and overall user experience
  • Identify opportunities for refactoring and lead efforts to enhance code quality and maintainability
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers
  • Contribute to best practices, code reviews, and front-end architecture decisions

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of professional front-end development experience, including strong expertise in Vue.js and modern JavaScript
  • Proven ability to work from loosely defined requirements and drive solutions independently
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
  • Experience building and maintaining production-grade web applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
  • Experience working in Linux/Unix environments preferred
  • Familiarity with modern front-end tooling (e.g., build systems, testing frameworks)
  • Experience with performance optimization and UI scalability preferred
  • Interest in UI/UX design and creating intuitive user experiences
