Job description

Position OverviewUnited Health Services (UHS) is proud to offer a unique opportunity for Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) students through our RN Education Incentive Program. This initiative provides financial support for nursing education in return for a work commitment within the UHS system upon graduation. Participants will gain early exposure to healthcare environments while pursuing their degree, positioning them for a successful transition into a Registered Nurse role.

Annual Compensation Range:

Program Highlights:

  • Up to 100% tuition coverage for approved BSN programs.

  • Supportive, flexible work opportunities within UHS while completing your degree.

  • Guaranteed job placement as an RN at Wilson Medical Center or Binghamton General Hospital upon graduation.

Participant Commitments:

  • Complete all BSN program requirements within the specified timeframe.

  • Begin employment as a Registered Nurse within UHS (Wilson Medical Center or Binghamton General Hospital) no later than 60 days after graduation.

  • Commit to continuous employment at UHS based on tuition support received:

  • 2 years tuition paid = 2 years employment

  • 3 years tuition paid = 3 years employment

  • 4 years tuition paid = 4 years employment

  • Work part-time or per diem while enrolled in the BSN program, based on availability.

  • Work at least 120 hours per year while enrolled (orientation hours do not count).

  • Complete all required trainings by designated deadlines, including eLearning modules.

  • Follow all UHS policies and Standards of Performance.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Enrollment in an accredited BSN program.

  • Acceptance into the UHS RN Education Incentive Program.

  • Ability to meet work and academic commitments outlined in the program agreement.
