What is a UGC manager?

A UGC (User-Generated Content) Manager is a professional responsible for overseeing the collection, curation, and promotion of content created by a brand’s audience or customers. They develop strategies to encourage users to share content, ensure that submissions align with brand guidelines, and leverage this content across marketing channels to boost engagement and authenticity. UGC Managers often work closely with social media, marketing, and community teams to maximize the impact of user-generated content.
