Job description

The UCSF Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is seeking a Pediatric Radiologist to join its faculty team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, academic environment focused on clinical excellence, teaching, and research. The selected candidate will work at the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in San Francisco and Oakland with a group of dedicated pediatric radiologists in an environment of excellent clinical care, teaching, and research

Faculty appointments are available at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the Clinical X, In Residence, or HS Clinical series, depending on qualifications and interests.

  • MD (or equivalent) and eligibility to practice medicine in California
  • Fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology
  • Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Radiology (ABR)
  • Commitment to obtaining a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Pediatric Radiology
  • Strong interest in academic medicine, teaching, and research

Requirements:

  • MD degree (or equivalent)
  • Ability to practice medicine in California
  • Completion of fellowship training in Pediatric Radiology.
  • Board certified (or eligible) by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or be prepared to enter into the ABR Alternate Pathway

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5 . The minimum base salary range for this position is $149,700-$393,200. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
