Job description

Position Overview
  • Department: Pharmacy
  • Schedule: 7 on / 7 off, 5:30am-4pm
  • Work Location: UAB St Vincent's Birmingham
  • Benefits for eligible positions only include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more

What You Will Do
Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist.
  • Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
  • Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the pharmacy department.
  • Repackage bulk medications.
  • Receive and store incoming supplies.
  • Serve as liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professional by providing information as necessary.

What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • Currently registered or eligible to be registered as a pharmacy technician by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy (ALBOP) required.
  • Active registration will be required prior to date of hire.

Education:
  • High School diploma equivalency required.
