Job description

Summary of Position:

The CURE Kit Packing Volunteer will work alongside the Director of Kits Programs to assist in preparing and shipping medical kits (CURE Kits) locally. CURE Kits are ~50-pound bags packed with medical supplies that individuals can purchase to bring on their medical mission trips. The CURE Kits volunteer will assist with inventorying supplies, packing CURE Kits, and facilitating their shipment. This role requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, self-motivation, and professionalism. Option domestic travel opportunities.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Maintain inventory of supplies and validate expiration dates of items needed to pack CURE Kits locally,
  • Pack CURE Kits and maintain inventory of the prepared kits.
  • Facilitate the pickup or shipment of CURE Kits for orders.
  • Provide support on various tasks and projects regarding CURE Kits.
  • Follow warehouse safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Medical background or familiarity with medical supplies preferred but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and email technology.
  • Willingness and ability to help train volunteers.
