Job description

Amyx is seeking to hire Junior Business Operations Specialist to support our DOD client in the Falls Church, VA area. Requires onsite support DHA Headquarters.


  • Provide support to the Director Level Executive Leadership on Specific tasks include, 

    • Provides critical administrative and strategic support to the Defense Health Agency (DHA) leadership, stakeholders, and customers across all DHA directorates, divisions, and supporting offices.
    • Serving as a subject matter expert on staffing practices and business rules, the specialist meticulously reviews division work products to ensure strict compliance with DoD and DHA policies.
    • Review work products for correctness and adherence to DHA's standards, policies, and procedures.
    • Provide subject matter expertise on all matters pertaining to the business rules that guide staffing practices/procedures and provide general rules and guidelines for business functions.
    • Drafting high-level executive communication such as briefings, bullet background papers, and formal responses to Congressional inquiriesโ€”ensuring all deliverables are perfectly tailored and standardized for presentation to senior military and civilian leadership. In addition to these strategic responsibilities, the specialist drives daily operational efficiency by delivering comprehensive support for various project tasks across the divisions.
    • Prepare responses to Congressional inquiries. Ensure correctness and adherence to DoD's and DHA's standards, policies, and procedures.
    • Provide administrative support including typing, filing distribution of reports, data entry, and preparation of presentations, meeting scheduling, and other administrative duties.
    • Familiarity with Task Management Systems such as Enterprise Task Management System 2 (ETMS2) or similar.
    • Familiarity with DoD Records Management Requirements.
    • Must have the ability to communicate accurate information.
    • Day-to-day duties encompass technical typing, data entry, records management, report distribution, and the creation of presentations, alongside logistical operations like coordinating travel itineraries, calendar management and scheduling appointments, maintaining visitor control, and answering telephones.

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree is preferred.
  • Candidates must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
  • Strong working knowledge of DoD records management and enterprise task management systems, such as ETMS2.
  • Provide general- purpose administrative and clerical support for project
  • Excellent organization and communications skills; technical typing; data entry; filing; scheduling appointments; arranging travel itineraries; maintaining visitor control; and answering telephones.
