Job description

This role is responsible for typing information received on product and inventory from the warehouse and entering the information into our database. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy, ability to type 60 WPM or better, and have a keen eye for detail. Understanding of data confidentiality principles is compulsory. The company will rely on you for having accurate and updated data that are easily accessible through a digital database.

Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to):

  • Enter data from documents into ERP system from files and documents including but not limited to Excel, Word, PDF, etc.
  • Sort and identify products based on visual product description and/or SKU and enter data into system based on criteria
  • Combine and rearrange data from documents where required
  • Verify data and correct data where necessary by comparing it to source documents
  • Check completed work for accuracy
  • Additional other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience as a data entry clerk or similar role
  • Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.)
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
  • Basic understanding of databases
  • Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • High school degree or equivalent
