Job description

Position Title: Customer Service Advocate Iย 

Location: Remote (Texas)

Schedule: 8 - 6 PM CST/7 - 5 PM MST, Possible OTย 

Duration: 6ย Months

Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves as the primary point of contact for members, providers, and partners. This role is responsible for answering inquiries, resolving issues, and providing accurate information regarding health plan benefits, eligibility, claims, authorizations, and services. The CSR ensures positive customer experience by delivering professional, compassionate, and solution-oriented support.


Key Responsibilities

    • Resolve customer service inquiries or billing complaintsย 

    • Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustmentsย 

    • Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigationย 

    • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions takenย 

    • Call volume is typically 50 to 60 inbound calls per dayย 


Qualifications

  • 1+ year minimum. This needs to be recent within atย LEAST the last 2-3 years. Job stability.ย 
  • Typing speed of 40 WPM โ€“ can submit if a little less, we just need to make sure candidates are quick with their typing and multitaskingย 
  • Basic computer skills/computer savvyย (Screen for prior experience working between multiple screens)
