Registered Vascular Technologist/ Vascular Sonographer

Cardiovascular Physicians of Delaware- Bear, DE 

Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm


Job Overview

Join a well-established private cardiology group with a track record of success. We are seeking a Registered Vascular Technologist to join our growing team. This position is weekdays only, no weekends or on call.


Responsibilities

  • Perform vascular studies as ordered by physicians, in accordance with established practices and procedures.
  • Perform imaging at benchmark standards.
  • Communicate and prepare patient regarding study while considering the needs of the patient.
  • Process preliminary study reports to be reviewed by reading physicians in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Demonstrate exceptional care and compassion in all patient interactions.


Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • Graduate of a formal Vascular Technology program.
  • Recent completion of accredited certification by ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience preferred


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to perform quality and complete vascular studies using 2D, color and Doppler.
  • Knowledge of EHR systems.
  • Able to work independently and set priorities.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
