Job description

Immediate need for an Administrative Assistant to work with the Legal Department of a corporation in Wilmington, DE. This is a temporary role. Details are below (referrals welcome):
Start: ASAP
Anticipated duration: 9 months
Location: Wilmington, Delaware (3 days in office)
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and obtain signatures for various types of legal documents.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and organize meetings for legal staff.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Sort, screen, and distribute incoming mail.
  • Generate purchase requisitions in accordance with organizational protocols.
  • Organize travel.
  • Prepare expense and reimbursement reports.
  • Assist team members with projects, track deadlines, and perform ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years in a legal environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential legal information with discretion.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple functions within the Legal Department.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Physical Requirements • Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations • Work is generally performed sitting, talking, hearing, and typing • This is a high-volume screen-based role, requiring constant, prolonged computer usage, including but not limited to: reviewing documents, managing visual content, and attending virtual meetings • Visual acuity required for computer use, data analysis, and extended reading • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and document handling • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching • Ability to lift and carry items weighting up to 30 pounds
