Job Title:Transplant Technologist - Tissue Typing LabDepartment:University Hospital | Tissue Typing

SCOPE OF POSITION

ABHI certified technologist performing histocompatibility testing and interpreting results in Tissue Typing Laboratory.

POSITION SUMMARY
The incumbent will perform comprehensive clinical histocompatibility testing. To ensure the highest standards of result interpretation and quality control, candidates must obtain CHT (ABHI) certification at the Technologist level within 24 months of hire. This role requires participation in a 24-hour on-call rotation, covering approximately 20-25% of the monthly schedule.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in a life science, knowledge of standard immunological lab techniques, or knowledge of histocompatibility and/or 2 years of lab experience is preferred. Experience in PCR-molecular technology helpful. Demonstrable organizational skills, and ability to multi-task absolutely essential. CHT (ABHI) certification required within 2 years of hire.
