Typist Clerk II

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district. The Typist Clerk II in the Child Nutrition Department will:

  • Perform a wide variety of moderately complex and responsible clerical work of above-average difficulty in a department office setting.
  • Perform other related work as required.

Details for this position:

  • Work Site: Child Nutrition Department
  • Work Schedule: 3.5 hours/day, 5 days/week, 10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
  • Benefits: Benefit package includes, paid sick leave, vacation, and holidays (currently observing 14 paid holidays a year).
  • Requirements for Applying: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; one (1) year of experience in typing and general clerical work; familiarity with computers and word processing software, type @ 50 net words per minute; or any combination of training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities.
  • License/Certificate: Typing Certificate, dated within the last six (6) months. NO ONLINE TYPING CERTIFICATES ACCEPTED. (Required with your application)
  • Required Attachments (PDF): Letter of Recommendation - 1 (within the last year and preferably from most recent employer) Resume Typing Certificate with verification of completion (dated within the last six (6) months) of typing assessment with a corrected net speed of 50 words per minute. NO ON-LINE TYPING CERTIFICATES ACCEPTED (Required with your application).
