About the Opportunity

42 Bar and Table Restaurant is open 7 days a week. We offer lunch and brunch on Sunday. 42 maintains 4.8 out of 5 and 100% recommended in open table. Voted best Business Lunch in Soiree recommendations. Everything is made from scratch all the way down to the ice cream. Great family atmosphere that believes in superior hospitality and proving a Presidential experience.

The Runner/Busser is responsible for providing exceptional serviceย while keeping the customer supplied with appropriate dishware, flatware, food, beverage, and paper products.ย  S/he is also responsible for keeping tables and other areas of the restaurant clean as assigned.ย ย ย  ย  ย ย 

Core Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Keeps customers supplied with appropriate dishware, flatware, food, beverage and paper products.
  • Removes dishes when appropriate; responds promptly to requests from guests while remaining customer service oriented; keeps all service areas clean as assigned.
  • Maintains storage room supplies in an orderly fashion; performs other tasks as requested.
  • Complies with all policies and standards/procedures applicable to the position, including attendance, time, quality control, and other standards.

Minimum Qualifications

What we're looking for:

  • You must have a Real ID or a Passport to work at the Foundation and access the NARA building.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of server, runner or busser experience.
  • Must be able to multi-task. Ability to cope with varied and fast paced activities.ย
