Position Overview

Thrive Mental and Counseling Center is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in Spokane, Washington. This full-time or part-time position offers the unique opportunity to work remotely through a telehealth platform, enabling you to deliver high-quality mental health services from the comfort of your home. Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, all committed to improving the mental health landscape for our clients. The telehealth setting enables you to connect with patients from various backgrounds while managing your schedule effectively. Work hours are designed to accommodate both full-time (Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day) and part-time (Monday to Saturday, flexible hours) options, with no required weekend work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client's needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to families, individuals, groups, and couples, leveraging a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches.
  • Document clinical records meticulously, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards to maintain client confidentiality and care integrity.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams to craft comprehensive care plans, actively contributing to case discussions and multidisciplinary meetings.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development workshops and training, keeping abreast of the latest advancements in mental health research and practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client population is diverse, encompassing individuals facing challenges related to emotional wellbeing, substance use disorders, trauma, and relationship issues. You will be instrumental in providing support to clients from various walks of life, ensuring that culturally sensitive and respectful care is at the forefront of your practice. Qualifications
  • A Master's degree or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
  • Must possess a current and unrestricted LMHC license in the state of Washington.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is essential.
  • A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice is necessary.
  • Proficient in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and telehealth technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with attractive monthly productivity bonuses.
