What does a twic card required job involve?

In a position requiring a TWIC card, your daily responsibilities may include accessing secure areas of ports, maritime facilities, or transportation hubs, monitoring cargo movement, and ensuring adherence to federal and company security protocols. You may be required to interact with security systems, verify credentials, and communicate with both coworkers and security personnel. The role can include working both indoors and outdoors, often involving physical activity and adherence to strict schedules. Successful TWIC card holders demonstrate a high level of vigilance and accountability, as their work is critical to maintaining secure operations in sensitive environments. You’ll frequently collaborate with teams, supervisors, and external partners to facilitate the safe and smooth flow of goods and personnel.
