Description
Danner's Inc., a respected leader in Maritime Transportation and Security, is expanding our team in Corpus Christi, TX. We are seeking dedicated and dependable drivers, who hold a valid TWIC Card in hand, to join our team. Ideal candidates will be reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to providing excellent customer service.
As a Crew Transport Driver, you will:
  • Conduct vehicle inspections
  • Provide transportation to crew members to and from vessels
  • Complete paperwork and clear crew with Customs and Border Protection
  • Professionally interact with crew, captains, and CBP personnel
  • Ensure the safe and timely delivery and pickup of crew members and baggage
  • Communicate frequently with Dispatch
  • Convey excellent customer service and professionalism
  • Assist crewmembers with luggage
  • Be prepared to be on call, including evenings, to support a 24-hour 7-day a week operation.
As a Freight Driver, you will:
  • Conduct vehicle inspections, manage the loading and unloading of cargo, and ensure the accuracy and compliance of transport documents
  • Maneuver with a trailer in challenging environments like heavy traffic, busy ports, and airport locations
  • Convey excellent customer service and professionalism
  • Use a forklift to load and unload equipment
  • Coordinate timely pick-up and delivery of shipments
  • Communicate frequently with Dispatch
  • Be prepared to be on call, including evenings 1-2 hours per week, to support a 24-hour 7-day a week operation.

Schedule:

  • Hours: Availability required for all shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Competitive hourly rates starting at $15.00/hour.
Requirements
Qualified Drivers shall meet the following general amp; physical requirements:
General:
  • Must be age 24 or older to apply REQUIRED
  • Must possess in hand a Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card is REQUIRED
  • Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate variable work hours that change daily, with no standard shifts
  • Must possess a valid Texas driver's license
  • Be observant and have attention to detail
  • Capable of using technology for navigation and dispatch
  • Able and resilient in responding to changing schedules and job requirements
  • Sense of urgency, initiative, and follow-through to complete all jobs with pride in work
  • Desire to work in a team environment in a growing company
  • Able to think proactively and respond appropriately to changing requirements
  • Must be able to proficiently speak, read amp; write English
  • Must be employment eligible based on background requirements to include criminal background check, clean MVR, health/drug screen
  • 2 years of recent professional driving experience in the industry preferred
Physical:
  • Walking up steep gangways and stairs without a fear of heights
  • Lifting/Carrying up to 50 lbs. without assistance
  • Loading and unloading heavy equipment with moderate assistance (Freight)
  • Walking moderate distances
  • Work indoors and outdoors in inclement weather
  • Standing for long periods of time
  • Sitting for long periods of time
  • Driving vehicles - getting in and out of vehicles several times per day
  • Average / Good vision
  • Other physical demands may be required as needed.
