Within the global experience team, weโ€™re seeking a product leader passionate about Movie & TV show experiences both in and out of our App.

This role is crucial in transforming how customers engage with Prime Video by building experiences that optimize Movie & TV Shows and surface their distinct characteristics.

Key job responsibilities
  • Drive the vision, strategy, and execution of Movie & TV show-specific experiences across Prime Video platforms
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of TV show consumption patterns, viewing behaviors, and customer needs
  • Design and implement specialized TV show discovery solutions for various series types (procedural, limited series, anthologies, etc.)
  • Create innovative approaches to present series structure, episode progression, and season relationships
  • Ensure premium presentation quality across all TV show content by:
  • Maintaining accurate representation of show seasons, episodes, and relationships
  • Identifying and resolving presentation issues through client-side fixes
  • Collaborating with upstream teams on catalog and metadata improvements
  • Working with client teams to optimize for platform-specific constraints
  • Build features that enhance viewer engagement
  • Partner with content teams and studios to optimize show presentation and maximize viewer engagement
  • Define and analyze metrics to measure success and drive continuous improvement
  • Own quality control processes and prioritize defect resolution based on customer impact
About The Team

The Prime Video Global App Experience team is responsible for defining and building the Prime Video experience on a range of devices on web, mobile, living room, and next-gen platforms.

Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience managing technical products or online services
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
