Job description

About Atmosphere TV
Atmosphere is the leading streaming TV platform built specifically for businesses. Unlike ad networks or signage companies, Atmosphere is the only true TV company whose first priority is to entertain television audiences outside of the home. Our content is designed to be fun, engaging, and worth watching, transforming waiting rooms, gyms, bars, and restaurants into better experiences for customers and better businesses for owners.
We are the first and only company to think about both the business owner and their customers when creating TV content. With 60,000+ venues and a global audience of over 150 million monthly viewers, Atmosphere is redefining what TV means outside the living room.
About the role
Atmosphere is seeking a creative, ambitious, and highly organized Producer to help curate and produce compelling content for Atmosphere NOW- a channel of captivating news stories from around the world to keep viewers informed, inspired, and engaged. The ideal candidate is well-versed in journalistic integrity with a keen eye for editorial judgment- staying in the know of headlines across pop culture, business, and current events.
In this role, you'll write scripts to accompany visually engaging videos, assist in daily story selection, and help ensure the channel's rundown remains up to date. Success requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work independently to deliver error-free content to millions of monthly viewers.
This is a full-time role with a Monday-Friday schedule. The Producer is expected to work onsite in our Austin office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
What you'll do
  • Apply sound news judgment to select and prioritize stories for daily channel updates.
  • Write scripts and produce video segments using strong editorial and storytelling skills.
  • Implement adjustments to the channel's rundown, ensuring its content is engaging, accurate, and efficiently uploaded.
  • Monitor developing stories and make timely updates as needed.
  • Contribute story ideas and pitch new segments for the NOW channel.
  • Work on special projects as needed.
  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Media, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years of professional media and/or journalism experience
  • Solid writing skills and editorial judgment
  • Ability to work independently without supervision
  • Experience with Adobe Suite strongly preferred
  • Proactive, self-directed work style with the ability to perform well under deadlines
  • Ability to quickly and creatively solve problems independently
  • A true team player with a great attitude who takes pride in their work

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary $55,000 - $65,000
  • Company Equity
  • Company 401(k) with employer matching
  • Competitive insurance plans
  • Flexible Time Off Policy

Our Commitment to Diversity
Don't meet every single requirement? Research shows that women and underrepresented groups often hesitate to apply unless they meet all the criteria. At Atmosphere, we're committed to building a diverse, inclusive team where creativity, innovation, and teamwork thrive. If you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't perfectly align with every qualification, we still encourage you to apply-you might be the right fit for this or another role.
