Responsibilities

Job Summary: Support the production team in the planning, organization, and execution of photography, digital, and video projects. Coordinate logistics, manage schedules, communicate with various teams and vendors, and ensure all production elements are in place and projects run smoothly and efficiently. Support integrated marketing team and other production staff throughout the production process. To operate successfully, the Producer has multiple functional skills that can elevate the work and operate across all media platforms.


Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

  • Assist in development and management of production schedules; ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Provide on-set assistance during shoots; ensure all necessary equipment and materials are available and functioning; assist with setup and breakdown of shoots; coordinate with crew members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain detailed records of project progress including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation; prepare and distribute production-related documents such as call sheets, production schedules, and meeting notes.
  • Act as a liaison between the production team and other departments; ensure clear communication and coordination.
  • Ensure all contracts, releases, and agreements are in place and properly filed.
  • Organize and manage production meetings; take notes and ensure follow-up on action items.
  • Communicate with vendors, freelancers, and talent to coordinate involvement in production projects.
  • Coordinate logistics for shoots; book locations, arrange transportation, and secure necessary permits.
  • Support the post-production process; organize and track media assets, coordinate with editors, ensure timely delivery of final products; assist with distribution of final content to stakeholders and platforms.
  • Monitor production expenses; ensure projects stay within budget; provide regular budget updates to the production team and assist with cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications & Key Requirements:
 

Intermediate individual contributor in a professional role. Works independently within an established framework, receiving detailed instructions only on new assignments. Possesses specialized knowledge and skills required to perform the role. Applies practical knowledge, learned theories, concepts, principles, and methodologies to difficult but non-complex, conventional assignments. Majority of work efforts are focused on meeting objectives related to implementation or delivery of processes, programs, and/or policies.

Builds productive internal and external working relationships.

Work Experience:

  • 2+ years Agency, freelance, or in-house experience in media / video production or production coordination including experience collaborating with and managing photographers, videographers, models, stylists, assistants, and art directors; working within production budgets; and in ideation and creation of cross-functional marketing campaigns


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced creative environment; solid communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to think through an entire shoot from A–Z and plan accordingly including equipment / props / models / locations with accuracy and efficiency; ability to incorporate direction into work and receive constructive feedback from collaborators; ability to create within brand guidelines
  • Solid understanding of the production process including pre-production, on-set, and post-production activities; solid pre-production organization and scheduling skills
  • Solid understanding of video production equipment, editing software, and media formats; post-production equipment / usage / processes; modern photo / video techniques and lighting styles; basic color correction, audio mixing, camera/color profiles, and web video standards; and industry-standard tools and practices in media and video production
  • Solid understanding of fundamentals / ethics of marketing and usage, licensing, and legal boundaries with ability to push boundaries

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in film, media production, communications, or related field or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience

  • Lift 20 lbs or more on a regular basis and 50 lbs or more on an occasional basis
