GEO Academies is a national, non-profit network of public charter schools transforming the educational landscape through high expectations, personalized learning, and opportunities for students to earn college credit and career credentials while still in high school. Our mission is rooted in equity and access-helping students break down barriers and build pathways to future success.
Role Overview:
GEO Academies is seeking motivated, responsible, and student-centered high school seniors to join our team as GEO Cadets-paid academic tutors who will work directly with younger students in small-group and one-on-one settings. As a GEO Cadet, you will provide instructional support in math, helping K-8 students build foundational skills and develop confidence in the classroom.
This role is ideal for high school seniors who are passionate about education, have strong communication skills, and want to gain hands-on experience while making a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Academic Support: Provide targeted tutoring to students in small-group or individual settings to reinforce classroom learning.
  • Classroom Assistance: Partner with lead teachers to support instructional activities and manage learning materials.
  • Professionalism: Represent GEO with integrity and commitment by maintaining consistent attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct.
  • Student Engagement: Foster positive relationships with students and help create a welcoming, supportive learning environment.

  • Must pass required background and clearances.
