Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), scheduling software, and data tracking tools is typically required. A Tutor Manager often splits their time between administrative responsibilities—such as scheduling, reporting, and performance monitoring—and actively supporting tutors through training, feedback, and troubleshooting student issues. Effective time management and prioritization are key, as Tutor Managers need to ensure operational efficiency while fostering a collaborative and positive environment for their team. Regular check-ins, team meetings, and open communication channels help maintain this balance and ensure both organizational goals and individual tutor needs are met.

Tutor Managers are professionals responsible for overseeing and coordinating a team of tutors within an educational organization. They recruit, train, and support tutors, ensuring that tutoring services meet quality standards and align with educational goals. Tutor Managers also handle scheduling, performance evaluations, and may communicate with students or parents to address concerns. Their role is crucial in maintaining an effective and positive learning environment.

  • Attend team meetings, monthly in-person staff meetings, and additional meetings as needed.

  • Superb organizational skills, attention to detail, reliability, and responsiveness.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with tutors, school partners, and other GO staff members.
