Student Worker - Tutor (Mathematics) Academic Year 2025-2026

The Department of Mathematics is seeking student workers (tutors) to work in the Mathematics Assistance Center (MAC). Must be a Math major and must have been recommended by one of the Math Faculty. Completion of Background Checks, Payroll employment forms, Etc.

Pay Rate: Starting rate $10.00/hr

Required Qualifications

Mathematics Major (Good Standing)

Interactive/Personal Skills

Recommendation of Math Faculty

Completion MATH211 (Calculus 2)

Must complete 3 required clearances (PA Criminal Background, Child Abuse History, and FBI Fingerprints).

Preferred Qualifications

Job Duties

1-on-1 and small group tutoring in MAC. Communication with MAC coordinator regarding department and student needs.
