Job description

Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, an independent Catholic, college preparatory high school in the Holy Cross Tradition, is seeking an IPS Title I - Math Tutor for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is employed by Indianapolis Public School (IPS), and will be assigned to Cathedral High School.

Position Summary:
The Title I Math Tutor you must hold a valid Indiana teaching license in Math Education. This position provides supplemental academic support in mathematics through small-group and individualized tutoring for students identified for Title I support

Services are delivered on-site at Cathedral; however, the tutor is employed by Indianapolis Public Schools and must follow IPS Title I program expectations. The tutor's work is designed to compliment, not replace, classroom instruction.
As a Title I Math Tutor, you are responsible for maintaining accurate and complete documentation of all services provided to Title I students, ensuring full compliance with program requirements. This includes keeping the Title I digital binder current, organized, and audit-ready at all times

Our school operates on a standard work schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. This is a part-time position and schedules are determined by the Principal.
