One of our clients is seeking a Community Support Staff /Tutor to provide service in the Montgomery County & prince George's county area for the new school year 2026 - 2027.

The Community Support Staff are responsible for planning and providing community-based academic, vocational, social skills, and transition experiences to meet assigned students’ needs as outlined by county curricula and as stated in the students’ IEP.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Under supervision of a certified teacher, plan and implement lessons and activities designed to address the specific strengths and needs of students in order to meet the IEP goals.
* Provide instructional assistance to teachers.
* In collaboration with the therapists and crisis intervention specialist, provide crisis management and assist students in accessing community resources.
* Supporting employment and career development including vocational assessment, career exploration, and Internship/employment placement.
* Maintaining records of academic, behavioral and vocational participation and progress on a regular basis.
* Maintain consistent communication with parents, employers, adult service providers and other outside agencies.
* Coordinate and provide transportation for assigned students between their places of residence, locations in the community for school-related activities.
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
* Bachelors degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.
* Valid drivers license required.
* Must meet state regulating agency driving requirements, maintain auto insurance and pass corporate insurance eligibility standards.
