Job description

AYTAV USA INC. | Gainesville, GA | https://www.aytav.com.tr/en
Senior Poultry Equipment Sales & Business Development Manager — Southeast US | Gainesville, GA

Aytav Poultry Equipment (Türkiye) is entering the US market and needs a senior, experienced industry professional to lead it.

Base yourself in Gainesville, GA, at the center of the Southeast poultry belt. Walk into a territory with zero incumbent baggage. The most important thing you will bring to this role is not a resume — it is the relationships behind it. We need someone who has spent years inside the Southeast poultry market and knows exactly who buys cage systems, feeding lines, ventilation packages, transport equipment, and incubation systems in Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, and North Carolina — and knows how those decisions actually get made.

About Aytav

Aytav Poultry Equipment is a 35+ year Turkish manufacturer exporting to 105+ countries. Full product range: cage systems, feeding, watering, heating, transport coops, chicken loading systems, chick boxes and equipment, broiler equipment, breeder equipment, ventilation, and incubation equipment. 200+ turnkey farms built internationally since 2010. Now opening our first US subsidiary — Aytav USA Inc. — in Gainesville, Georgia.

What You Will Do
Relationship Building & Market Development

  • Build direct relationships with SE integrators — Wayne-Sanderson Farms, Koch Foods, Tyson, Fieldale Farms, Mar-Jac — and with the contract growers whose flock performance depends on the equipment decisions made above them

  • Open and develop conversations with procurement and live production leadership at target integrators

  • Identify, approach, and manage distributor and dealer partnerships across the SE alongside direct sales

  • Represent Aytav at IPPE (Atlanta, every January) and USPOULTRY annually — walk the floor as a manufacturer

  • Lead farm visits, product demonstrations, and — where the relationship is ready — factory tours of Aytav's Türkiye facilities

  • Own quarterly and annual revenue targets; develop the Year 1 and Year 2 sales forecast

  • Build and maintain a structured sales pipeline using CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent); report weekly to US Operations Director and quarterly to Aytav Türkiye leadership

  • Track competitor activity — Big Dutchman, CTB/Chore-Time, Cumberland, VAL-CO — and report on market trends and customer feedback

The single most important outcome in Year 1: win Aytav's first US reference installation — the anchor milestone that opens the door to every integrator conversation that follows. One real install at a Southeast farm or integrator facility does more for Aytav's US credibility than any catalog, trade show booth, or advertising spend combined. Everything else in this role builds toward it.

Serve as Aytav's Bridge to the US Market

  • Translate between Aytav Türkiye's engineering-led manufacturing culture and the US integrator's buying process — that bridge is as valued as your sales number

  • Tell Aytav Türkiye what US customers actually ask about — product specifications, certifications, how they evaluate foreign suppliers, and what it means for Aytav's US roadmap

What We Are Looking For

Three backgrounds, equal weight. The common thread: you have lived inside the integrator buying process.

(a) OEM territory: 5–8 years at Big Dutchman, CTB/Chore-Time, Cumberland, VAL-CO, Hired Hand, or comparable manufacturer — territory sales, dealer management, or product management with SE US focus

(b) Integrator live production or equipment side: 5–8 years at a major Southeast poultry integrator — Wayne-Sanderson Farms, Koch Foods, Tyson, Fieldale, Pilgrim's, or similar

(c) SE regional equipment dealer or rep: 5–8 years selling poultry or agricultural equipment to SE farms and integrators through a regional dealership or independent rep firm

  • Established contacts in the SE poultry belt (GA, AL, AR, NC) — at integrator procurement, live production management, or contract grower level; relationships that go past the front desk

  • CRM-based pipeline management (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)

  • Startup and greenfield tolerance — you are building this market, not managing an inherited territory

  • Travel regionally 50–60% of the time — weighted toward field presence in Year 1; available for weekend farm visits when grower and integrator schedules call for it

  • The range to be effective in front of a contract grower and a procurement VP in the same day

What Will Set You Apart

  • Experience as the US point person for a foreign manufacturer — import/distributor side, foreign-owned US entity, or an international OEM's North American territory

  • Familiarity with the poultry equipment certification landscape (UL/ETL, NSF, OSHA) — awareness of what customers ask about and why

  • Technical fluency: read equipment drawings, discuss specs with farm engineers, present a full cage system or ventilation package on a job site

  • Contract grower network — grower association involvement, extension service connections, or direct grower contacts that give you a path to integrator decisions from the farm level up

  • Turkish language ability — a genuine plus, not a requirement

What Aytav Offers

  • Base salary: $100,000–$120,000/year based on experience and skills

  • Sales commission on closed deals

  • Annual performance bonus tied to KPIs

  • Employer-provided health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Vehicle/fuel allowance or company vehicle

  • Cell phone stipend

  • Trade show attendance and customer field visits fully covered

  • Paid time off

  • 401(k): in process as part of Aytav USA Inc. entity setup

Before You Apply

A few practical details:

Reports to: US Operations Director — Aytav USA Inc. | Dotted line to Aytav Türkiye CEO Location: Gainesville, GA + Southeast US field travel Start date: September 2026 What success looks like in Year 1: First qualified distributor partnership or active reference installation conversation at integrator level
